He added that integrating with Claude is a key step toward empowering advisors to use CAIS as a single platform solution.
CAIS has developed various interface layers to support its "Alts Engine" strategy, which automates alternative investment workflows across partnered platforms. Brendan Cuddihy, CAIS's COO, noted, "By expanding our AI-driven APIs and launching CAIS as an MCP server, we’re helping our clients efficiently extend those capabilities with access to alternative investments and capital markets." This strategy highlights CAIS's commitment to improving the user experience for financial advisors through advanced AI technologies.
The integration builds on CAISey, CAIS's existing AI solution designed to streamline information about alternative investments and capital markets. This approach not only enhances the platform's functionality but also positions CAIS as a leader in AI integration within the financial advisory space. The company is also actively developing technology initiatives such as Compass, a portfolio-construction tool, and solutions for incorporating alternative investments into Turnkey Asset Management Platforms (TAMPs) and managed account platforms.
In a related development, CAIS recently partnered with RedBlack, a rebalancing and trading platform, to boost alternative investment capabilities within advisor platforms. This announcement follows a similar collaboration between iCapital, another major player in the alternative investment sector, and Anthropic to advance its AI strategy.
