Launched in April, Project Glasswing focuses on employing Claude Mythos Preview, which Anthropic describes as a general-purpose LLM particularly skilled in cybersecurity tasks. The model has reportedly identified thousands of high-severity vulnerabilities across major operating systems and web browsers without requiring human input. Currently, access to this AI is limited to Glasswing partners and over 40 additional unnamed organizations, with no plans for public availability at this time.
Verizon's CEO, Dan Schulman, underscored the significance of this initiative, stating that it allows the company to improve its cybersecurity measures with new insights.
