RedMagic’s 11S Pro Series Redefines Mobile Gaming Standards

RedMagic's latest 11S Pro series launches in China, boasting advanced cooling and performance technology designed for mobile gaming enthusiasts.

The recent unveiling of RedMagic's 11S Pro series marks a significant advancement in mobile gaming devices. Featuring elements designed specifically for gamers, such as a 6.8-inch AMOLED display and advanced cooling systems, this series establishes a new standard in the competitive smartphone gaming market.

The 11S Pro series includes both the standard and Pro Plus models, boasting an impressive 95% screen-to-body ratio and ultra-thin bezels measuring just 1.25mm. It notably avoids camera notches by incorporating a 16MP under-display camera (UDC), offering an uninterrupted viewing experience. Gamers can look forward to smooth performance from the display, which supports a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz and 1.5K resolution—essential for fast-paced gaming.

At the core of the 11S Pro series is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip paired with RedMagic's proprietary RedCore R4 gaming processor. This combination aims to provide sustained high-frame-rate performance, greatly enhancing the mobile gaming experience. Additionally, Energy Cube 3.0 software boosts gameplay in graphically intensive titles.

To address heat generated during intense gaming, RedMagic has improved its AquaCore Liquid Cooling System. This system features a TurboFan, a 4D Vapor Chamber, and Composite Liquid Metal 3.0 technology to facilitate effective heat dissipation. Its multi-layered structure promotes rapid heat transfer, helping to maintain consistent frame rates and prevent performance drops due to overheating. As the company notes, “In short, this ensures its FPS remains consistent, and users don't suffer from poor performance due to its heat build-up.”

The gaming experience is further enhanced by the MagicTouch 4.0 algorithm, which optimizes touch response. The Synaptics touch solution increases the instantaneous touch sampling rate to 3,000Hz, with a multi-finger sampling rate of up to 360Hz, reducing input lag—an important advantage in competitive gaming. Independent IC shoulder triggers offer a sampling rate of 520Hz, allowing gamers to react quickly during critical moments.

Battery life and charging capabilities are also impressive. The standard 11S Pro features an 8,000mAh dual-cell battery with 80W fast charging, while the Pro Plus model has a slightly smaller 7,500mAh battery but supports faster 120W wired and 80W wireless charging. This enables gamers to stay powered during lengthy play sessions, essential for those engaged in competitive titles.

The 11S Pro series is gaining traction among gaming communities, already being used in events like the CrossFire Mobile League and the Call of Duty: Mobile Masters. Pricing starts at around $808 for the basic model, while the Pro Plus variant can reach approximately $1,176, depending on the specifications selected.

As RedMagic prepares for a global announcement on May 27, anticipation is building regarding how this series will perform in international markets. With its compelling features and gamer-focused design, the 11S Pro series could redefine mobile gaming devices. The combination of powerful hardware and advanced cooling technology suggests a trend toward gaming phones that resemble mini-PCs, indicating a promising future for mobile gaming enthusiasts.
